Vocabulary
Vocabulary refers to a group of words known by an individual or any other entity, whether concrete (a defined group of people, for example) or abstract (such as a professional or social group, a language, or a dialect). A person's own vocabulary is defined as the set of words that they are able to understand or, alternatively, the set of words that they are able to use in forming new sentences.
