the site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdoor.com.br\/Sal%C3%A1rios\/analista-de-seo-sal%C3%A1rio-SRCH_KO0,15.htm\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Glassdoor<\/a>, the national average salary for an SEO analyst is R$2,808. The portal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vagas.com.br\/cargo\/analista-de-seo\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">vagas.com<\/a> reports that for the same position the starting salary is R$2,068.00 and can reach up to R$3,659.00. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The average salary for an SEO Analyst in Brazil is R$2,578.00.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For an <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"especialista SEO\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/seo-specialist\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/seo-specialist\">SEO specialist<\/a>, the national average salary for a Specialist is R$9,092, according to <a aria-label=\"Glassdoor (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.glassdoor.com.br\/Sal%C3%A1rios\/brasil-especialista-seo-sal%C3%A1rio-SRCH_IL.0,6_IN36_KO7,19_KE20,23.htm?clickSource=searchBtn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Glassdoor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what_is_an_seo_specialist\"><\/span>What Is an SEO Specialist?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the nomenclature adopted by the Brazilian market, an SEO specialist is an analyst who has more <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Experi\u00eancia\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/experiencia\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/experiencia\">experience<\/a> and generally manages a group of analysts. Most <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"profissionais\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/trabalhador\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/trabalhador-2\">professionals<\/a> working in <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/otimizacao\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/otimizacao;http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/otimizacao;http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/algoritmo_de_busca\">optimization<\/a> come from backgrounds related to <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/marketing\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/marketing\">Marketing<\/a>, Advertising, and <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"produtos\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/tecnologia\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/tecnologia;http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/motor_de_busca;http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/inteligencia_artificial\">technology<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don&#8217;t need to attend any college to start working with SEO, but you do need to develop some important skills, such as writing for the <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"World Wide Web\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/world-wide-web\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/world-wide-web\">Web<\/a>, technical <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"experi\u00eancias\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/conhecimento\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/conhecimento\">knowledge<\/a> of website development (though you don&#8217;t necessarily need to <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"ser\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/ser\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/ser\">be<\/a> a developer), in-depth understanding of how search engines and algorithms work, data <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"dado\" href=\"https:\/\/semantico.com.br\/blog\/en\/Vocabulario\/dado\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0221\/entity\/dado\">analysis<\/a>, among other skills. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some course providers, most of them online, offer courses on SEO. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since I have never taken any course, I will not be able to recommend any of them. When I started working with SEO, courses did not exist, and I learned in two ways: by working and by following a method from a book: &#8220;<a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3hqn1vh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Search Engine Optimization (SEO): An Hour a Day<\/a>&#8220;.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This book, in addition to covering some theoretical and technical aspects, gave me as a beginner a program to follow. As stated in the book&#8217;s title, short tasks, one hour a day. In it, Mueller discusses what&#8217;s new in search, not for those already working with SEO, but with a focus on developers who want to learn more about website optimization. I recommend you watch it.
