World Wide Web

The World Wide Web (which literally translates to "world wide web"), also known as the Web and WWW, is a system of hypermedia documents that are interconnected and run on the Internet .

Documents can be in the form of videos, audio, hypertext, and images. To view the information , a computer program called a browser can be used to download information (called "documents" or "pages") from web servers (or "sites") and display them on the user .
