When should you deindex your page?

  • You have a URL in one of your Search Console and need to remove it from Google quickly. Additional steps are required to permanently remove the URL. The URL to be removed can be a webpage or an image.

How does Google de-index a website?

Visit the Remove URLs tool and select your website under “Select a property ”. Click the gray button, enter your URL, and click “Continue”. Click “Submit request”.

You can also use Google's removal tool to temporarily block your website's search results or manage SafeSearch filters. This removal tool allows you to temporarily prevent pages from websites you own from appearing in Google Search results.
