Economy

Economics (economic science or economic science) consists of the analysis of the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. The term economics comes from the Greek οικονομία (from οἶκος, translit. oikos, 'house' + νόμος, translit. nomos, 'custom or law', or also 'to manage, administer': hence "house rules" or "domestic administration").

It is also the social science that studies economic activity, through the development of economic theory, and which finds its application in administration.
