Google Knowledge Graph , also known as Knowledge Graph, is a knowledge for Google 's search system that is being tested on the US version of the search , aiming to improve the results of its search tool with semantic search information .

Also known as the Knowledge Panel, it's a box that appears at the top or right of the first page of Google search results for relevant queries.

This panel contains facts and information about people, places, and things, as well as links to related websites or Google searches.

The new feature was added to Google's search engine in 2012.
