Mobile device

A mobile device, popularly known in English as a handheld, is a pocket-sized computer usually equipped with a small screen (output) and a miniature keyboard (input).

In the case of PDAs, the output and input are combined on a touchscreen.

The most common mobile devices:

  • Smartphone;
  • PDA;
  • Mobile phone (pt) / Cell phone (br);
  • Portable console;
  • Ultra Mobile PC;
  • Ultrabook;
  • Notebook;
  • Netbook;
  • Laptop;
  • Data collector ;

Mobile devices are becoming increasingly integrated, and today it is very common to see mobile phones that function as PDAs, GPS devices, portable TVs, consoles, internet , WAP devices, audio, video and text players, among other things.

Everything in one device. There's also the entertainment aspect, which mainly consists of: Games, Music, Apps and digital books, movies for download via the internet or through the "App Store" (an application used to download other apps).
