Faceted navigation is frequently used on e-commerce websites; faceted navigation offers many sorting and filtering options to help visitors more easily locate the URL they are looking for in a pile of thousands or even millions of URLs.
For example, you can sort a clothing page by price: from lowest to highest, or filter the page to view only the smaller items.
