Worker
"Worker" is a broad term that encompasses nothing but someone who lives off their labor – this includes slaves, serfs, artisans, and proletarians. Currently, a worker is legally (formally) considered to be anyone who performs tasks based on contracts, with an agreed-upon salary and rights stipulated by law. In the case of volunteering, one works in non-profit institutions and is therefore not salaried.
